We are part of Philadelphia Yearly Meeting,
and one of fourteen Meetings in Bucks
Quarterly Meeting.
Several Friends organizations are based in the Newtown Area:
Newtown Friends School is a
Quaker elementary school (grade K-8) that was
founded by and continues under the care of Newtown Friends Meeting.
George School, a Quaker boarding
school for grades 9 - 12, is also nearby.
Newtown is home to
Friends Home and Village, a retirement residence under the care of Bucks Quarter.
Chandler Hall
is a Quaker Health Services organization dedicated to providing a full
continuum of care for the older adult.
Pennswood Village is a Quaker-run
continuing care retirement community located near Newtown.
