We are part of Philadelphia Yearly Meeting, and one of fourteen Meetings in Bucks Quarterly Meeting. Click here for Bucks Quarter's latest "Quakerphernalia". Several Friends organizations are based in the Newtown Area: Newtown Friends School is a Quaker elementary school (grade K-8) that was founded by and continues under the care of Newtown Friends Meeting. George School, a Quaker boarding school for grades 9 - 12, is also nearby. Newtown is home to Friends Home and Village, a retirement residence under the care of Bucks Quarter. Chandler Hall is a Quaker Health Services organization dedicated to providing a full continuum of care for the older adult. Pennswood Village is a Quaker-run continuing care retirement community located near Newtown.
